Job description

RN - IVF Coordinator

Indiana Fertility Institute (IFI) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - IVF Coordinator. If you are a professional nurse who is committed to growth in a diverse and inclusive community, this may be a great fit for you. We seek to fill this role with a nurse who will provide excellent and compassionate clinical patient care based upon the nursing process; being effectively involved with maintaining the standard of care for assigned patients through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

We are offering a $5000 Sign on bonus for this position!

HOURS: Days, Monday through Friday. Weekend and holiday rotation required.

What you'll be doing:

  • Communicate with patients about medications, treatment plans, and test results.
  • Assist in ovulation induction, egg freezing, sperm analysis, IVF, and egg donation.
  • Perform exams, procedures, occasional phlebotomy, and administer medications.
  • Educate patients on treatment protocols and infertility procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between the physician and the patient.
  • Support retrievals, transfers, and pre/post-operative care.
  • Accurately relay lab results and maintain patient records.
  • Coordinate case management and schedule treatments.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
  • Ensure regular attendance and handle additional duties as assigned.

To do this effectively, you'll need the following:

  • Valid state license; board certified RN required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • RN licensure with one year experience, preferably in fertility or specialized care.
  • Phlebotomy experience, one year.
  • Ultrasonography experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, an FDA compliance.
  • Understanding of basic reproductive physiology.
  • Knowledge of examination, testing, diagnosis, and treatment of reproductive conditions.
