Position Summary
The Senior Marketing Manager IVF Consumables is responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies that drive adoption, revenue growth, and competitive differentiation across a portfolio of IVF consumables. This includes media, culture, cryo, embryo handling, labware, and workflow support products used in assisted reproductive technology laboratories.
This role combines strategic marketing leadership with deep clinical understanding of IVF workflows and strong collaboration across Product Management, Sales, Clinical, Regulatory, and Research and Development teams. The ideal candidate brings experience in reproductive medicine, laboratory environments, and marketing within medical devices or biotechnology.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing and Portfolio Leadership
  • Lead regional marketing strategy for IVF consumables, including positioning, segmentation, and value proposition development based on customer insights and market dynamics
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, including new product introductions, enhancements, and portfolio optimization
  • Partner with commercial teams to support pricing strategy and margin performance

Market Development and Growth
  • Identify and assess market opportunities using customer insights and clinical trends in assisted reproductive technologies
  • Develop and execute campaigns to increase awareness and drive growth across key product categories
  • Support sales teams with targeted programs, content, and tools that improve conversion and product utilization
  • Contribute to educational initiatives that strengthen product knowledge among embryologists and clinicians

Product Launch and Commercial Execution
  • Lead go to market strategy and execution for new consumable products
  • Ensure launch readiness through development of sales tools, training materials, and supporting content
  • Monitor post launch performance and incorporate customer feedback to optimize adoption and positioning

Customer and Clinical Insight
  • Maintain a strong understanding of IVF laboratory workflows, clinical practices, and customer challenges
  • Engage directly with key customers, including lab directors and embryologists, to gather insights and validate market needs
  • Translate feedback into actionable recommendations and partner with research and development to inform product priorities

Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Regulatory, Clinical Affairs, and Quality teams to ensure compliance of all marketing claims and materials
  • Collaborate with supply chain and operations to support forecasting, inventory planning, and product availability
  • Work with digital marketing teams to align on content strategy, campaign execution, and performance analytics

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Business, or related field
  • Seven or more years of marketing experience in medical devices, biotechnology, or diagnostics, with experience in IVF or assisted reproductive technologies preferred
  • Demonstrated success managing technical product portfolios and launching new products
  • Strong understanding of IVF laboratory workflows and consumable product applications
  • Proven ability to lead complex initiatives and influence cross functional teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic planning skills

Preferred
  • Experience working with embryology key opinion leaders or clinical education teams
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools
  • Ability to translate scientific concepts into clear and compelling commercial messaging
