Overview:
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Cisco technologies, Palo Alto Firewalls, and enterprise networking solutions. The role requires advanced troubleshooting (L3), designing, and administering WAN/LAN, Wireless, Cloud (Azure), and SD-WAN environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in enterprise network operations, ITIL processes, and the ability to optimize and secure large-scale infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and administer WAN/LAN networks, enterprise wireless, cloud (Azure), SD-WAN, and firewalls (Cisco/Palo Alto).
  • Provide L3 and advanced troubleshooting for network issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, iWAN, MPLS), switching (Cisco Nexus, Stack switches), wireless (Cisco WLC, Meraki), and Cisco ACI fabric solutions.
  • Administer and support next-generation firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FP, Check Point, Zscaler, Fortinet).
  • Utilize monitoring and management tools (SolarWinds, Panorama, Prime, Cisco DNA Center, Infoblox, ISE) to maintain and optimize network performance.
  • Collaborate on ITIL Change Management processes using ServiceNow for ticket handling and incident management.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, recommend preventive solutions, and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage network equipment lifecycle including installation, upgrades, and patching of hardware/software.
  • Support and mentor L1/L2 engineers in handling escalated issues.
  • Provide analytics-based recommendations to improve performance, security, and reliability of network infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • Cisco Routing & Switching (OSPF, BGP, iWAN, MPLS, Nexus, Stack switches)
    • Cisco ACI (mandatory)
    • Cisco/Meraki Wireless (Cisco WLC, Prime, DNAC)
    • Firewalls (Cisco ASA/FP, Palo Alto, Check Point, Zscaler, Fortinet)
    • SD-WAN solutions
    • Azure Networking
  • Experience with ITIL Change Management and ServiceNow ticketing tools.
  • Strong L3 troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking and security (Azure, AWS, GCP preferred).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications such as CCNP/CCIE (Routing & Switching, Security, Data Center, Wireless), PCNSE (Palo Alto), or equivalent.
  • Experience with Fortinet Firewalls and multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
