Job description

Technical Program Manager
Dallas, TX | Full-time
Reports to Co-founder/CTO

Why this role exists

Our client is an AI-powered contract intelligence platform that validates purchased services invoices against contract terms before payment, helping healthcare organizations reduce leakage, enforce compliance, and modernize procure-to-pay workflows.
This company is scaling quickly. Enterprise customers are live, expectations are high, and execution cant be reactive anymore.

They need a Technical Program Manager who can build an operating rhythm across Product, Engineering, and Operations. Someone who makes delivery predictable, surfaces risk early, and keeps commitments from turning into last-minute fire drills.

This is not a run Jira and send status updates role. Its ownership.

What you will own

Program delivery (end-to-end)

  • Lead cross-functional technical initiatives from planning through delivery.
  • Translate big priorities into clear workstreams, owners, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Keep delivery on track across teams and adjust quickly when reality changes.
  • Identify risks early, escalate with context, and prevent surprises.

Cross-functional alignment

  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and leadership to align priorities and sequencing.
  • Facilitate planning and execution touchpoints that keep teams coordinated.
  • Connect work across teams so critical initiatives dont stall in silos.

Execution infrastructure

  • Improve visibility into whats moving, whats stuck, and what decisions are needed.
  • Introduce lightweight tools and systems that improve speed and forecasting (including smart use of AI).
  • Establish a consistent cadence for reporting, tracking, and accountability.
What success looks like in your first 90 days
  • You create a clear execution roadmap for the companys highest priority initiatives (owners, timelines, dependencies, decision points).
  • Delivery becomes more predictable: fewer surprises, fewer escalations, tighter follow-through.
  • Enterprise commitments are met with clear cross-team coordination.
  • Leadership has real visibility into progress and risk, without chasing people for updates.
The profile that tends to win here
  • You operate independently and dont need heavy direction to move work forward.
  • You bring urgency without chaos.
  • You can influence without formal authority.
  • Youre steady in ambiguity and good at turning messy into manageable.
  • You leverage tools well and care about outcomes more than process theater.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years in Technical Program Management / Technical Project Management or similar cross-functional delivery roles.
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC and how product + engineering work actually ships.
  • Proven track record delivering complex initiatives on schedule across multiple teams.
  • Experience building execution discipline in fast-moving or startup environments.
Compensation + benefits
  • Competitive base salary
  • Performance bonus
  • Equity

Opportunity to build the execution engine inside a mission-driven company reducing healthcare supply chain waste.
