Job description

Position Title: Technical Program Manager
Location: Hybrid, Arlington, VA

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead and oversee federal contracting programs within our company delivering high quality technical solutions, managing multi-year sustainment and enhancement efforts, and ensuring operational excellence across all program functions driving profitability through effective P&L management. As a Lead Program Manager, you will excel in cross-functional collaboration, client relationship management, and delivering results that align with organizational goals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about leading large complex programs involving critical systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project & Technical Delivery
    • Lead endtoend delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality targets are met.
    • Coordinate technical teams, architects, and engineering resources to drive solution implementation
    • Manage dependencies, risks, and operational sequencing for all assigned workstreams
    • Ensure readiness for deployment activities, including schedulesensitive and crossteam integrations
  • Program Oversight: Manage all phases of federal contracting programs, from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • P&L Management: Support management of program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis
  • Compliance: Ensure all programs comply with federal regulations, contractual obligations, and company policies
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for federal clients, building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on program performance, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement
  • Business Development: Collaborate with the business development team to identify new opportunities and contribute to proposal development

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clearance Public Trust
  • Education bachelor's degree (Masters Preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience managing IT or technical projects in complex environments
  • PMP Certification
  • Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional teams and manage customer relationships
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, risk management, and operational governance
  • Proficiency with dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problemsolving skills
  • Strong decision-making and leadership capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proactive problem solver with a can-do attitude

WORKING CONDITIONS

Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday. Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs. Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting.
