Job description

  • Maintain and manage Citrix applications
  • Install and update Citrix farms
  • Design and plan Citrix NetScaler environments
  • Develop the cloud infrastructure supporting Citrix farms
  • Provide technical support for incident response, service degradations, outages, and other interruptions
  • Provide Tier I, II, and III support to Citrix XenDesktop VDI environments
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in Citrix PVS and Windows Server environments
  • Investigate hardware and software problems related to Citrix infrastructure and perform corrective actions
  • Perform Citrix design, performance monitoring, tuning, scripting, upgrades, and maintenance for production systems
  • Support applications, hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructure
  • Make architectural and operational recommendations and apply updates to Citrix environments
  • Perform daily server maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Administer Citrix PVS for server maintenance, upgrades, and image maintenance
  • Configure, deploy, monitor, and maintain VDI tasks
  • Follow vendor and industry best practices for cloud and software configuration
  • Collaborate with other technical specialists on assigned duties
  • Perform other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office
Requirements
  • Must have a valid Security+ Certification
  • Must have a Secret Security clearance or higher, and be eligible for Top-Secret clearance
  • Certification in Citrix or equivalent work experience relative to supporting XenApp and XenDesktop platforms
  • Minimum 10 or more years of experience with designing, building, and managing Citrix Environments
  • Must have hands-on experience in Citrix Farm Migrations
  • Hands-on experience with Citrix management tools like Director, especially RCA preparation
  • Hands-on experience in ITIL processes, incident management, change management, and Studio
  • Experience in Citrix Secure Gateway, Web Interface, and NetScaler
  • Experience building and configuring Citrix Farms
  • Experience deploying servers utilizing PVS and/or MCS in a virtual environment
  • Working knowledge
  • Must have and maintain Secret Security clearance or higher
  • Technical knowledge and depth in maintaining MS Operating System
  • Experience supporting Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop platforms
  • Experience with Citrix PVS and Windows Server environments
