POSITION SUMMARY
General Plastics is seeking an IT Technician I to join our Information Technology team.

This position will assist with internal customer support and is responsible for addressing helpdesk tickets on a large variety of programs and systems. Â It will include assisting other IT staff members with a variety of tasks ranging from network, wiring, server issues, and other tasks as assigned. Â Â This is an entry level position, and we are seeking candidates with similar experience or who have prepared themselves for this profession with education and certifications.

The ideal candidate will have some understanding of networking and servers, and computer components, and they will have a focus on providing great customer service. In this role, they will need to have the ability to communicate well with end users and team members alike.
This is not a remote position – you will be located onsite at our manufacturing plant in Tacoma.
