Job description

Responsibilities include (but not limited to)

  • Help develop annual operating budget; optimize and track related spend. Support in developing business cases for key infrastructure upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure related Standards, Procedures, and Policies.
  • Manage and execute IT Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity plans and actions.
  • Manage enterprise 7x24 operational support model and proactively work to identify and resolve systemic issues and Initiate root cause corrective action process and drive improvements to infrastructure services and support.
  • Manage IT infrastructure deliverables related to Merger, Acquisition, and Divestiture.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Extensive technical knowledge of IT Networking, Server/VM architectures, workstation/PCs, Enterprise & PC software.
  • Strategic planning: Develop and execute strategies to align IT infrastructure with business objectives. This involves forecasting future needs, planning for scalability, and integrating new technologies.
  • Disaster recovery planning: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. This ensures that the organization can quickly recover from unexpected outages or data loss.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors to procure hardware, software, and services. This includes negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that products meet organizational standards.
  • Budget Management: Responsible for the IT infrastructure budget, making decisions on investments in new technologies and managing ongoing operational costs.
  • Project Management: The ability to plan, execute, and oversee infrastructure projects from start to finish. This includes setting timelines, managing resources, and ensuring projects are completed within budget.
  • Working knowledge of Controlled Unclassified Information and NIST 800-171 cyber security controls and hands-on experience in developing and executing cyber security policies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal & written) with customers at all organizational levels and external suppliers.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs and issues into IT requirements
  • Working knowledge of ITSM tools

Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in MIS or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 7 years IT professional experience
  • Minimum of 3 years managing IT infrastructure and IT teams
  • Experience with managing multiple sites; preferably a manufacturing environment
  • Preferred Certifications: ITIL, PMP

Location / Compensation:

Los Angeles, CA or Seattle, WA or Wichita, KS

Salary Range  $125,000 - $145,000

10% Bonus - Management Incentive Plan
