Job description

The Technical Program Lead, Infrastructure & Workplace Technology is responsible for coordinating and driving the execution of enterprise infrastructure and workplace technology programs. This role serves as the primary liaison between Fluke and Fortive Infrastructure Shared Services and works across internal IT teams, vendors, finance, and procurement to ensure reliable delivery, cost discipline, and clear execution.

The role focuses on program coordination and delivery across cloud servers, data centers, workplace productivity tools, Microsoft platforms, networking, contracts, purchase orders, and infrastructure financial tracking. This is a hands-on technical program leadership role with accountability for execution and follow‑through rather than people management.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end execution of infrastructure programs across cloud servers and platforms (Azure, AWS), data centers and hosting services, core networking, and identity‑adjacent infrastructure services

• Act as the central point of coordination across Fortive Shared Services, Fluke IT teams, and external vendors

• Serve as the primary liaison with Fortive Infrastructure Shared Services for all infrastructure and workplace technology initiatives

• Communicate Fluke priorities, requirements, timelines, and constraints clearly to Fortive partners

• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and escalations and drive them to closure

• Coordinate workplace productivity and collaboration platform initiatives, including Microsoft tools and services

• Support infrastructure changes, upgrades, and rollouts to ensure predictable execution and minimal business disruption

• Coordinate cloud infrastructure initiatives with a focus on operational readiness, cost visibility, and stability

• Support automation and AI‑enabled operational initiatives that improve efficiency and reliability

• Coordinate infrastructure financial activities including cloud spend tracking, vendor contracts, renewals, and purchase orders

• Partner with finance and procurement to maintain cost transparency and financial discipline

• Track and report run versus grow spend across infrastructure and workplace programs

• Provide clear, concise, outcome‑focused updates to IT leadership and L1 stakeholders

• Communicate progress in terms of impact delivered, risks and tradeoffs, cost posture, and operational readiness

Role Characteristics

Individual contributor role with strong program execution accountability. No direct people management responsibility. Requires high attention to detail, follow‑through, and cross‑company coordination.

Qualifications and Experience

• Eight to twelve or more years of experience in infrastructure programs, technical program management, or platform operations coordination

• Working knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure and AWS

• Solid understanding of enterprise networking, core infrastructure, and data center or hosting environments

• Familiarity with workplace productivity ecosystems, including Microsoft platforms and collaboration tools

• Experience coordinating vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and purchase orders

• Understanding of infrastructure financial management, cloud spend tracking, and cost transparency

• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Proven ability to drive execution across complex, multi‑team, and multi‑company environments

Success Measures

Infrastructure and workplace technology programs delivered predictably with clear ownership and visibility. Strong alignment and execution with Fortive Infrastructure Shared Services. Improved cost transparency and disciplined contract and PO management. Fewer execution surprises through early risk identification and resolution. Increased leadership confidence in infrastructure program delivery.
