Job Summary:
Scout Space is building a new way to see and operate in space, and they are seeking a skilled IT Administrator to establish and manage their internal IT infrastructure. This role will be crucial in maintaining IT compliance with Federal Government regulations and supporting the company's growth.
Responsibilities:
• Establish and manage internal IT operations, creating documentation and procedures for all IT processes
• Provide first-line IT support for employees, triaging hardware, software, and network issues
• Implement and maintain IT security controls in alignment with NIST and CMMC standards
• Administer and maintain company hardware, networks, and cloud infrastructure
• Provide occasional cyber security trainings to team members
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across company systems
• Support the management of relationships with technology vendors and service providers
• Participate in CMMC preparation and certification activities
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR in lieu of a degree 4+ additional years of experience.
• 3+ years of experience in IT administration and support
• Experience with CMMC and other similar compliance frameworks (NIST 800-171, ISO27001)
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and security principles
• Proficiency in managing AWS cloud services
• Experience with Microsoft Azure/GCC High environment
• Understanding of IT security frameworks and compliance requirements
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Must be eligible to hold a security clearance
Preferred:
• Certified CMMC Professional certification
• Familiarity with government contracting IT requirements
• Experience building in-house IT support
• ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL frameworks
