The Ascendancy Group (TAG) Mission:

Overview:

As TAG’s IT Administrator, you will manage all aspects of IT from device configuration to operational support for local and remote users. You will be responsible for monitoring and configuring a wide range of systems and programs and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.


Security Requirement:

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government SECRET security clearance is required.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform change management, media protection, incident response, auditing and logging in accordance with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)-compliant System Security Plan (SSP) policies and procedures.
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones, and other computer and telecommunications equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring issues associated with application software and operating systems quickly and efficiently in coordination with TAG’s outsourced IT provider as needed.
  • Install and support PC, laptop, tablet, and mobile hardware and software.
  • Provide daily support to office employees on laptops, software, Zoom meetings, Teams meetings, conference room equipment, printers, and IP phones.
  • Manage asset inventory and coordinate logistics.
  • Document procedures, standards, best practices, configurations, settings, installation sequences, and back-out instructions.
  • Participate in hardware and software reviews and recommend purchases.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field); Associates degree and 2+ years experience; No degree and 4+ years experience; Certifications a plus.
  • Proficiency with Windows 11 and Office 365 administration, working knowledge of Office 365 and cloud technologies, solid understanding of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, and WINS.
  • Must possess critical thinking, excellent software/hardware troubleshooting skills, and professional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Asset Tiger asset management software a plus.
