Description

Chevo is hiring two experienced Governance & IRB Analysts to join our expanding firm. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client's business and becoming a trusted advisor.  Ideal candidates will demonstrate the versatility to understand and perform work overseeing the scheduling, documentation, and management of the Investment Review Boards (IRBs), supporting governance training, and SharePoint repository to include development and maintenance of workflows required for Farm Production & Conservation (FPAC) governance support. 


NOTE: This position is completely remote, staff supporting this contract may be located in the Kansas City and Washington DC metropolitan areas and/or surrounding areas.  


Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develops agendas, maintains the agenda backlog, drafts meeting minutes, tracks action item, and prepares other technical documentation. 
  • Maintains Charters, Policies, Processes, Procedures, and Templates. 
  • Facilitates Out-of-Cycle votes and coordination of budget reviews. 
  • Supports business units in defining, compiling, and submitting IT budget requests. 
  • Attends Investment Review Board (IRB) meetings and tracks approved, denied, and on hold IT spend-items. 
  • Reviews MS Excel reports from budgeting groups and compares multiple iterations of Spend Plan reports. 
  • Maintains KPI reports.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree within related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting federal governance boards, USDA experience preferred 
  • In depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and IT Governance-related disciplines. 
  • Expertise with MS Office, governance documentation, and SharePoint administration. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to effectively work with multiple levels within an organization 
  • Experience preparing high visibility, executive level presentation materials

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting USDA

SALARY RANGE: $75K - $90K (subject to change)
