To strengthen our motivated Supply Chain Team at our Indianapolis facility, we are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Inventory Control Specialist
Your Role
  • You will ensure accurate inventory management across all production and warehouse operations by monitoring, analyzing, and maintaining system integrity
  • You will investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, partnering closely with Operations, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Customer Service to drive root-cause solutions
  • You will lead cycle counting activities and ensure timely reconciliation, reporting, and continuous improvement of inventory accuracy
  • You will support production needs, trials, and new product introductions by providing reliable inventory insights and availability
  • You will collaborate cross-functionally to improve material flow, replenishment processes, and overall operational efficiency
  • You will analyze inventory data and generate reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • You will train, guide, and support the Inventory Control Coordinator to ensure consistency and high performance
  • You are committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Your Profile
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is an advantage
  • You have gained 5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a comparable role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • You have hands-on experience working with ERP or WMS systems and are comfortable navigating and maintaining accurate inventory data
  • You possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory reports, identify discrepancies, and drive root-cause solutions
  • You are proficient in Excel or similar tools and can effectively manage and analyze data
  • You communicate clearly and effectively across departments, with the ability to collaborate with Operations, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Customer Service
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • You demonstrate the ability to work independently while also leading, training, and supporting others on the team
