Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts according to company procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damaged inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor inventory transactions, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, shipping, and adjustments.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with customer-specific inventory requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Coordinate physical inventory counts and support annual inventory audits.
  • Review inventory reports and communicate issues to management promptly.
  • Work closely with warehouse supervisors to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in identifying process improvements that reduce inventory errors and increase productivity.
  • Prepare inventory reports for customers and management.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and quality standards.

 

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of inventory control experience, preferably in a 3PL or warehouse environment.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic mathematical and data analysis skills.
