Job description

JOB TITLE:  Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)     WAGE/HOUR STATUS:  Exempt

REPORTS TO:  Director of Special Education                                 PAY GRADE:  Professional (2)

DEPT/SCHOOL:  Matador Special Services Dept.                        DAYS EMPLOYED:  197

PRIMARY PURPOSE: 

Provide initial evaluations and reevaluations as required.  Provide psychological services to assigned campuses. In addition to psychoeducational evaluations, psychological services may include crisis intervention/management, short-term individual counseling, collaborating on behavioral consultations and intervention development, and collaborating/consulting with campuses and families for meeting student's needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

  • Master's degree
  • Active Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council LSSP Licensure
  • School experience preferred
