Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.ย  (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Generate sales revenue to meet annual revenue sales goals in specified territory.
  • Establish an effective sales plan in line with the annual sales goals and execute and monitor a sales plan.
  • Maintain current CRM information as it relates to new and existing customer contacts, sales opportunities, leads and any other necessary information to effectively utilize the CRM in managing the sales process.
  • Direct Sales Support Specialist to help execute sales to achieve annual goals.
  • Be the โ€œeyesโ€ & โ€œearsโ€ on the ground to keep up with competitive product/services.
  • Travel to facilities to conduct product demonstrations, in-services, and provide solutions.
  • Continue on-going formal training on the Multi-Modality Imaging related products and industry.
  • Assist in implementation of marketing plans in assigned territory.
  • Maintain and improve upon relationships with customers in assigned territory through responsiveness, problem-solving and regular communication, and quote follow-up.
  • Attain to reaching maximum satisfaction level of each customer.
  • Resolve non-strategic issues with customers through internal communication and coordination.
  • Locate and recruit new clientele and promptly and regularly provide any feedback gained from customers pertaining to product coverage, customer coverage or competitive information.
  • Report on weekly and monthly sales figures in assigned territory to the Inside Sales representative and assigned Director of Domestic Sales.
  • Proactively engage in increasing product and industry knowledge on Multi-Modality Imaging related products.

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience

Education:ย  Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university or 5+ years of experience in the radiation oncology/interventional radiology or medical device industry.ย  ย 

Experience:ย  Three+ years of sales experience in medical devices, or 5+ years outside sales experience in other industries.ย 

Experience in the medical field may be used as a substitute for sales experience requirements, as long as there is at least one year of sales experience, and the total experience between the medical field and sales is 5+ years.ย 

Other Useful Skills and Abilities

Exceptional computer skills and interpersonal communication skills via phone. Computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Strong organizational skills. Ability to handle interactions positively and credibly. A past positive and productive work history.ย
