Holly Poultry has been providing poultry to the Baltimore area for more than 60 years. Today, Holly Poultry's geographic reach has expanded across the Mid-Atlantic and into the Northeast, selling to a wide variety of customers from small intercity grocery stores to national restaurant chains and food service distributors. We are currently hiring for: IT Internship - This is a full time, in office position.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level and second-level technical support to staff via phone, email, chat, or in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Assist with software installations, updates, and licensing compliance.
  • Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory, email systems, and other platforms.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain documentation of technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Support video conferencing systems and collaboration tools.
  • Ensure data backup processes are completed and assist in recovery when needed.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to IT processes.

Qualifications:

  • Actively pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related IT field.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with computer hardware assembly, software installation, and system configuration is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to gain hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful projects.
  • Must have enthusiasm for IT and a passion for technology driven solutions.
