Unity Point Mental Health Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative virtual team. This remote position will provide you with a flexible environment where you can choose your own hours while working closely with our clinical team. You'll engage with colleagues during virtual consultations and contribute to case discussions while working independently on evaluations and treatment plans. As a part of our community-focused facility, you will be integral in enhancing care coordination for patients through digital frameworks and telehealth solutions.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Unity Point, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, and follow-up assessments to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to determine the best course of action for patients, coordinating between various levels of mental health care as needed.
• Completing all necessary documentation promptly and maintaining statutory reports to monitor patient progress.
• Facilitating group treatment sessions tailored to specific mental health needs and conducting therapeutic activities as appropriate.
• Participating in regular clinical supervision meetings to enhance your skills and provide insight into patient care strategies.
• Engaging in case conferences and treatment planning to develop individualized care strategies for patients receiving and being considered for mental health services.
• Possibly conducting psychological testing based on assignments and supervising social work interns or volunteer students as required.

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. You will support patients from different backgrounds and contribute to their recovery journey by developing tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs. Your role is crucial in ensuring that clients successfully integrate into their communities after healing and treatment.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a valid Washington State license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

While not mandatory, experience working within community health settings or with specific demographics (e.g., veterans, children, or those involved in correctional systems) will be an asset. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records will also enhance your effectiveness in this role.

We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will benefit from a flexible 40-hour work schedule. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
