HR Coordinator (Temporary)
Location: Spring, TX
Department: Human Resources
Position Summary
FCC Environmental is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support our Human Resources team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate interested in launching a career in Human Resources and gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, growing organization.
The HR Coordinator will assist with a variety of HR functions including onboarding, employee records management, compliance activities, recruiting coordination, reporting, training administration, and employee support. This role will work closely with HR team members, hiring managers, and employees across the organization while gaining exposure to HR systems, processes, and best practices.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
HR Administration & Employee Support
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, employment verifications, and employee document management.
  • Support I-9 processing and ensure employee records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, leave requests, and other HR-related topics.
  • Provide administrative support for HR programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee information.

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Support
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Review resumes and assist with candidate screening activities.
  • Support job posting management and recruiting-related administrative tasks.
  • Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding activities.

Projects & Process Improvement
  • Participate in HR initiatives and process improvement efforts.
  • Assist with policy updates, employee engagement activities, and HR communications.
  • Support additional HR functions and special projects as assigned.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Internship, campus leadership, customer service, administrative, or office experience is a plus.
  • Strong interest in developing a career in Human Resources.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Workday or other HR systems is a plus but not required.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred but not required.
