REMOTE POSITION FOR EAST COAST STARTUP

Mission driven digital health startup going through major pivotal change has created opportunities to make a difference.

You've been a founding Technical Leader, Partnerย or CTO of a successful SaaS Health Tech or Digital Health organization and you are ready to do it again but you must love theย challenge of doing the impossible. Youโ€™ll play a key role on the Leadership Team, partnering with the CEO (and other leadership) to bring a bold vision to life. Youโ€™re both strategic and tactical which means you recognize problems/potential problems a mile away and can resolve the issues with decisions based upon experience. You love a challenge and have been involved in transformations and turnarounds. Ideally, you have an insatiable passion for products involved with health, well-being and health equity.

BEFORE YOU CONTINUE: This is an equity-based position to start. Once we raise our Seed round (expected timeframe: Q1 2023), it will become a full-time paid position (salary, benefits, etc. to be determined). Position can be remote with flexible hours from any location though 3 hours within the Philadelphia area is optimal. You WILL NOT be building from scratch. Weโ€™ve been working on our product for some time and are beyond the MVP stage, but our needs are unique and require a different leadership. Because of this we need an exceptional person fueled by grit, gumption, tenacity, and a passion for what we have built and will continue to build which is a product that is going to change the way that people engage with their health and well-being. What's the job?

We need a proven, product centric technical leader with a track record building engineering and product roadmaps; successfully building, growing and retaining technology teams from 1>2 and beyond to lead a AI/ML-driven product that will rapidly scale. You will build the right technical team (development, testing, data, accessibility) communicate with employees, stakeholders, and customers to ensure our companyโ€™s technologies are used appropriately. Youโ€™ll have end-to-end oversight and be responsible for making our technical decisions, communicating the timelines, and further building out an amazing user experience.

We need you to provide sound technical leadership in every aspect of our business. Must be strategic AND tactical with a strong business acumen. Must be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts.

  • Success as a technology-driven people manager of an operationally complex environment with an ability to be hands-on while allocating resources correctly.
  • Strong understanding of technical leadership structure to scale within an app and data-science organization, as well as an applicable educational background
  • Reputation as a well-rounded project manager with exceptional go-to-market and product instincts; able to bring cross-functional teams together under common objectives.
  • High EQ and low ego; you carry an executive presence regardless of years of experience.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Make architecture decisions to ensure a strong, stable, and scalable product
  • Lead the integration of partner APIs to our platform
  • Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
  • Drive the performance, efficiency, and effectiveness of our remote partner engineering and product development teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Native IOS & Android App dev experience
  • Proficient in React native using Typescript
  • Experience with Firebase, Postgres, the Google and Amazon cloud platforms and web RTC
  • Understanding of GraphQL and REST
  • Ability to work independently, set clear expectations
  • Web3 experience
  • Experience working with third-party APIs
  • Apple HealthKit integration
