Position Summary
Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a highly organized, relationship-driven, and proactive Senior Recruiter/Internship Coordinator to oversee the recruitment, coordination, onboarding, and management of interns and temporary staff across both clinical and corporate departments.
This role will focus on building strong talent pipelines through partnerships with colleges, universities, training programs, and workforce development organizations. The Senior Recruiter/Internship Coordinator will support recruitment efforts for clinical internships, corporate internships, temporary staffing needs, and workforce development initiatives while ensuring a positive candidate and onboarding experience.
The ideal candidate is passionate about talent development, healthcare recruitment, organizational growth, and creating meaningful internship experiences that support long-term workforce retention.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage recruitment efforts for clinical and corporate interns, temporary staff, and entry-level positions.
  • Develop partnerships with colleges, universities, training programs, and workforce development organizations to support internship and staffing initiatives.
  • Source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidates using ATS platforms, job boards, social media, and recruitment tools.
  • Manage internship and onboarding processes, including orientation, documentation, background checks, compliance requirements, and HR records maintenance.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs, support workforce planning, and ensure successful placement and engagement of interns and temporary staff.
  • Assist with recruitment events, career fairs, employer branding, and organizational outreach initiatives.
  • Support HR administrative functions, employee engagement activities, and compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
Education amp; Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in recruiting, staffing coordination, internship coordination, talent acquisition, or human resources.
  • Experience recruiting within healthcare, behavioral health, corporate operations, or educational partnership environments preferred.
  • Experience working with interns, students, or workforce development programs is highly desirable.
Qualifications amp; Requirements
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, candidate sourcing, and onboarding procedures.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment pipelines simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating interviews, recruitment events, or internship programs.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with labor regulations.
  • Strong professional writing and documentation skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to students, candidates, educational partners, and groups.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and web-based recruiting tools.
  • Knowledge of behavioral-based interviewing practices preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with healthcare staffing or behavioral healthcare environments.
  • Experience conducting virtual interviews and online recruitment initiatives.
