Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Director of Brand Strategy and Senior Graphic Designer and collaborate with marketing, sales, product, newsroom, events, philanthropy, and people and culture teams on creative projects.
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative concept development.
  • Assist with quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy in design, formatting, production specifications, and brand execution.

Workflow & Operations
  • Manage production schedules and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain organized project files, documentation, and version control.
  • Support ongoing improvements to design processes, templates, and creative workflows.
  • Help ensure creative requests are delivered on time, accurately, and ready for use across platforms.

What You'll Bring
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in graphic design, production design, or a related creative role. Internship and freelance experience will be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Strong understanding of print production processes and digital asset preparation.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and file management skills.
  • Strong typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Figma, or motion graphics tools.
  • Portfolio demonstrating production design, marketing, brand, or campaign-related work.

Nice to Have
  • Interest in journalism, media, civic engagement, or community storytelling.
  • Familiarity with design thinking and/or user-centered design.
  • Video editing skills.
