Job description

Our client is seeking a highly organized and adaptable Personal Assistant in Atherton, CA to support a private family in both personal and household capacities. The ideal candidate is polished, proactive, emotionally intelligent, and service-minded with a "no task too big or too small" mentality. This role requires discretion, flexibility, and the ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Prepare detailed travel itineraries and provide real-time travel support and contingency planning
  • Assist with packing, unpacking, and travel preparation as needed
  • Maintain dynamic personal calendars, appointments, and scheduling logistics for the Principals
  • Coordinate with the Chief of Staff, household staff, and vendors to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Handle personal errands, shopping, gifting, returns, and household-related tasks
  • Assist with wardrobe organization, dry cleaning coordination, and household inventory
  • Provide occasional support with pet care, including scheduling grooming and vet appointments
  • Anticipate the needs of the Principals and provide proactive support
  • Travel with the Principals as needed
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a personal or executive assistant role, preferably within a private household or UHNW environment
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Google Workspace, Apple products, and digital calendar systems
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and passport-ready
  • Comfortable with pets and able to assist with occasional physical tasks such as lifting luggage
  • Flexible and responsive to last-minute changes and requests
Schedule: 40 hours per week. Hybrid based between the family's residence and remote work, with domestic and international travel required.
