We are looking for a Customer Support Manager to direct, coordinate, and lead activities of our Greensboro, NC branch. This is a great opportunity for a leadership role with a company that offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and career growth.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
  • Oversee all service & parts activities at the branch
  • Responsible for P&L and financials for branch
  • Manage hiring & branch personnel
  • Responsible for training and developing of team members through continual improvement
  • Handle Customer and Dealer relations, service contracts
  • Manage branch inventory control
  • Set yearly budget for branch operations & forecast service/parts sales for the branch
  • Continual monitoring and reporting of key branch performance measures
  • Utilize Management Tools (Seven Step, Nine Step, Language Processing, etc.).
  • Responsible for sound business practices
  • Compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations
  • Facility Management, building and grounds
  • Propose capital expenditures

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. Frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. Manager must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
  • Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions?

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manager supervises employees of the branch and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this operation
  • Manager carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role
  • Mechanical background through education or experience
  • Preferred - Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Valid State Driver's License
