Raytheon is hiring a Third-Party Logistics Specialist to oversee and manage the logistics execution and contract oversight of Raytheon’s strategic Third-Party Logistics (3PL) supplier.  Selected candidate will be responsible for Raytheon’s Northeast Region logistics activities onsite at our 3PL Manchester, NH location.

The selected candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the Third-Party Logistics warehouse leadership to ensure warehousing logistics performance is aligned with Raytheon Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), including, but not limited to, inbound and picking/packing and outbound customer processes. The candidate will assist in identifying, developing, activities with our Third-Party Logistics through process improvements to support customer expectations. Additionally, the candidate will help to monitor Third-Party Logistics compliance with contract requirements and ensure output quality is aligned with expectations. Lastly, the candidate will serve as the primary liaison between our Third-Party Logistics and Raytheon.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership characteristics and can shift frequently between strategic and tactical tasks. Candidate must demonstrate ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, including, but not limited to, touch labor employees, supervisors, management, and senior leadership, both from a Third-Party Logistics and Raytheon organizations. 

What You Will Do

  • Overseeing Third-Party Logistics warehousing execution and driving process improvement opportunities through lean manufacturing concepts and principles

  • Serving as key liaison between Third-Party Logistics and Raytheon factory and program offices

  • Lead highly complex Third-Party Logistics outbound customer deliveries.

  • Oversee Third-Party Logistics compliance to contract requirements. 

  • Coordinate and manger outbound customer orders.

  • Collaborating between the Third-Party Logistics and Raytheon factory and program office to ensure outbound customer orders might contractual obligations.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum five (5) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three (3) years' experience.

  • Experience working within a factory, warehouse or in a Third-Party Logistics environment.

  • Experience in leadership or management.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • High level of competency in Microsoft Office Suite of Products

  • Data Analytics experience

  • SAP/WMS/ERP Knowledge in Logistics

  • Domestic/International shipping experience.

  • DFAR/ITAR/ DD-250/AS9100 Experience.

  • Familiar with Aerospace and Defense Industry

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
