Job description


We are seeking a Third-Party Logistics Coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely movement of materials and finished goods. You will also coordinate shipping, receiving, and transportation activities while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to support operational continuity, cost control, and high customer satisfaction. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary logistics point of contact for third-party manufacturing partners and coordinate shipment schedules, delivery requirements, and documentation with contract manufacturers
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments between third-party manufacturers, warehouses, and customers
  • Communicate with carriers and freight providers to arrange transportation and resolve service issues and track shipments in transit and proactively manage delays, shortages, or damages
  • Monitor inventory levels at third-party manufacturing sites and in transit
  • Ensure accurate recording of receipts, shipments, and transfers in the ERP system and support inventory reconciliation and discrepancy resolution with internal teams and external partners
  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing lists, and compliance-related paperwork
  • Ensure logistics activities comply with company policies, contractual terms, and applicable transportation and trade regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Supply Chain, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Finance, and Customer Service
  • Support issue resolution related to production changes, quality concerns, returns, or rework
  • Track freight costs and logistics performance related to third-party manufacturing
  • Support cost-optimization initiatives, carrier performance reviews, and process improvements
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance service levels, accuracy, and efficiency

Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
  • Must have a High School Diploma; Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field is preferred
  • Must have experience coordinating shipments with contract manufacturers, carriers, and freight providers with the ability to prepare and review shipping documentation
  • Must have an understanding of domestic and/or international shipping and trade compliance basics
  • Knowledge of logistics, transportation modes, and inventory flow across third-party manufacturing sites
  • Must be proficient with ERP systems, basic Transportation Management Systems, and strong Excel skills for tracking shipments, inventory, and logistics data
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills to resolve delays, discrepancies, and urgent shipment issues while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Attention to detail, follow-through to ensure commitments are met and issues are fully resolved, and continuous improvement mindset with attention to accuracy, cost, and service levels is required
  • Must have relationship-building skills to maintain productive, professional partnerships with external vendors
  • Collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, Finance, and Customer Service is needed
  • Must have a customer-service mindset focused on reliability, responsiveness, and accountability
  • Minimal travel/ad-hoc trips to other sites as required
