Technical Integration Engineer

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) P-8 Poseidon Program is seeking a Technical Integration Engineer to join the Chief Engineer's Office in support of this high-visibility, advanced maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft program. This position is located in Tukwila, WA and is 100% onsite.
The P-8 Program, together with its suppliers, delivers the safest and most sophisticated Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Anti-Surface Warfare (ASuW), and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) weapon system supporting the U.S. National Defense Strategy by enhancing maritime domain awareness.
As a Technical Integration Engineer, you will provide engineering leadership to a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with the program chief engineer, engineering capabilities, program managers, contracts, estimating, supply chain, and customers to execute program objectives.
Position Responsibilities:
• Resolve technical issues through coordination with engineering and the Chief Engineer.
• Manage deliverables by defining plans for risk mitigation, issues, and opportunities; monitor baseline plans to assess project performance, productivity, and lessons learned.
• Brief customers and leadership on program status, technical risks, challenges, and support needs.
• Develop statements of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing, and new business requirements.
• Identify and manage changes to SOW, assess impacts, and incorporate changes accordingly.
• Provide technical, business, and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans.
• Lead and participate in technical reviews, providing feedback to meet customer SOW.
• Apply critical thinking, problem solving, change management, project management, influencing without authority, and consultation skills.
• Proactively communicate with leadership teams, peers, and customers.
• Review and approve technical exports, assist in developing export plans, and ensure program compliance with U.S. export laws and policies.
This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance post-start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.
• Level 4: 9+ years of related experience.
• Level 5: 14+ years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• 7+ years of experience in the aerospace industry.
• 5+ years of experience working on aircraft modification programs or new airplane programs.
• Experience providing customer support to address concerns.
• Ability to quickly learn technical engineering designs and concepts.
• Experience leading or managing projects and/or teams.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, including concise writing and verbal communication in one-on-one, small group, and large audience settings.
• Experience with the P-8A aircraft.
• Experience presenting technical content to Boeing and customer leadership.
• Strong project management skills.
