The Role and Impact:
Join Intel's Manufacturing Automation team as a Software Application Development Engineer and contribute to the cutting-edge development of cloud-native web analytics solutions. In this role, you will design and deploy robust, scalable, high-performance systems to analyze and visualize manufacturing data across global Intel sites. Your work will directly impact Intel's mission to drive innovation and efficiency in semiconductor manufacturing, enabling advanced process control and equipment analytics. As part of a collaborative and innovative team, you will play a key role in advancing Intel's manufacturing automation capabilities.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and deploy scalable front-end and back-end cloud-native web analytics solutions on Intel's on-premises cloud infrastructure.

  • Create responsive, reusable UI components with robust security, including authentication and authorization.

  • Design and implement APIs to enable efficient data flow across various manufacturing data domains.

  • Build, test, and maintain semiconductor-related data analytics interfaces with a focus on performance and user experience.

  • Conduct systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve application performance issues, particularly in cloud environments.

  • Utilize source control tools like GitHub, GitLab, or TFS for code contributions, reviews, and collaboration.

  • Apply automated testing techniques and establish monitoring systems to ensure the reliability of deployed solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have at least one of the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related specialized field with 1+ years of experience. OR 0 years of experience with a Master's Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience three or more of the following areas:
    Software programming.
    Backend and frontend software development and design practices.
    Utilizing source control tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, TFS) for code contributions and reviews.

  • Systematic troubleshooting and resolving performance issues in cloud environments.
    Front-end development and Back-end development.

  • Familiarity with basic computer science data structures and algorithms.

  • Experience contributing features to an enterprise-level, multi-site, multi-user full-stack solution running in production with CI/CD and source control tools.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $85,950.00-141,950.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
