Summary: Owns manufacturing processes for assigned products and improves quality, productivity, and manufacturability while partnering closely with production, quality, and design engineering.

Reports to: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Job Responsibilities and Deliverables:
  • Support daily production activities
  • Create and revise work instructions, own production processes
  • Design assembly fixtures and manufacturing tooling
  • Improve yields and cycle time; resolve recurring manufacturing issues
  • Lead process improvement initiatives
  • Support and create Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
  • Participate in NPI builds
  • Validate manufacturing documentation
  • Support quality investigations and supplier quality issues
  • Conduct PFMEA and risk assessments
  • Lead equipment qualification
  • Train technicians
  • Skills Preferred:
  • CAD (SolidWorks or similar)
  • Advanced GD&T
  • ERP/MRP familiarity (Epicor, Parsec Tracksys or similar)
  • Root Cause Analysis (8D, Fishbone, 5 Why)
  • Statistical Process Control
  • Lean Six Sigma
  • Fixture design
  • DFM/DFA
  • Vacuum systems familiarity preferred
  • MS Office Suite including advanced Excel tool knowledge
  • Cloud tools, including Jira and MS Sharepoint,
  • Other Requirements:
  • 25 years manufacturing engineering experience
  • Work is sedentary in nature, but may require standing, walking, grasping, and lifting/moving up to 40 pounds parts on occasion
  • Highest level of integrity and honesty willingness to go above and beyond flexibility, and a team player
  • Education Required:
  • B.S. in Engineering
  • Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $100k to $125k. The actual pay offered will be determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, job-related knowledge, internal equity, and geographical location.

    Employment for this position is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
