Job description

The Product Manager - Mouldings serves as the company's subject-matter expert for the mouldings category, overseeing product lifecycle, vendor relationships, category profitability, and sales enablement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of product strategy, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.
Starting Salary: $90k + Commission
Key Responsibilities
Category Ownership:
  • Serve as the primary expert on all moulding products, including materials, profiles, manufacturing processes, and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain a competitive and regionally aligned moulding assortment.

Vendor & Supplier Management:
  • Build and strengthen relationships with moulding manufacturers and mills.
  • Negotiate pricing, rebates, exclusivity opportunities, and promotional programs.
  • Maintain continuous performance reviews based on quality, lead times, and innovation.

Sales Support & Communication:
  • Act as the central link between vendors and the sales force.
  • Provide product updates, cost changes, competitive intel, and technical support.
  • Drive sales engagement through training, vendor incentives, spiffs, and merchandising tools.

Product Strategy & Analytics:
  • Analyze performance and make recommendations on product additions, improvements, or discontinuations.
  • Research and evaluate opportunities for new moulding profiles and materials.
  • Manage lifecycle decisions with a focus on margin, competitiveness, and customer demand.

Inventory & Cost Management:
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure healthy stock, effective turns, and minimal obsolescence.
  • Maintain competitive category pricing through strategic vendor collaboration.

Qualifications & Competencies
