Program Manager Position

Position Overview

As we grow, we are seeking to add a new role within our company. BrightStar Care of Columbus is looking for an experienced Program Manager to oversee our Ohio Medicaid, OhioRise, and DODD home care programs. This full-time in-office position offers the opportunity to lead critical healthcare initiatives while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
Schedule: Expected hours. Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: In office


Key Responsibilities

Provide oversight and management of Ohio Medicaid, OhioRise, and DODD programs
Ensure compliance with all program guidelines and regulatory requirements
Supervise and develop staff members across assigned programs
Coordinate and manage program-related surveys and assessments
Establish performance goals and monitor achievement metrics
Oversee field staff operations, including caregivers and nursing personnel
Collaborate closely with the Vice President of Operations
Maintain effective working relationships with office staff and stakeholders
Required Qualifications

Experience: 3-5 years in home care program management or related field
Program Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of Ohio Medicaid, OhioRise, and DODD programs
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to supervise and motivate teams
