Job Description

Rockwell Automation is Expanding Human Possibility by combining the imaginations of people with the intelligence of machines. The Academy of Advanced Manufacturing (AAM) advances the "people" aspect of this mission by developing a highly skilled workforce prepared for the digital manufacturing environment. AAM is an innovative technical training program designed to rapidly upskill U.S. military veterans for indemand technician roles.

As the Commercial Program Manager, you will help scale AAM's impact. You will coordinate with college partners to deliver AAM curriculum locally and collaborating with Rockwell distributors and customers. The goal is to ensure class capacity is fully utilized. You will be collaborative, processdriven, and essential to AAM's continued growth.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Be the commercial lead for AAM Expansion programs, partnering with Rockwell sales teams, distributors, and customer-facing resources to increase awareness, demand, and utilization of local training capacity.
  • Lead the end-to-end commercial lifecycle for local program delivery, including demand forecasting, pipeline management, and capacity planning for technician training cohorts.
  • Collaborate with college partners to plan, deliver, and scale local AAM curriculum while ensuring effective class utilization.
  • Work with distributors and customers to understand regional workforce needs and translate them into actionable capacity and cohort plans.
  • Partner with the Global Programs Manager (GPM), Veteran Program, and CPMV to align with national program standards, veteran-focused outcomes, and broader program goals.
  • Represent AAM at customer-facing events, partner engagements, and regional forums to support program growth and expansion.
  • Manage the commercial pipeline to support full cohort enrollment and successful program outcomes.
  • Document, standardize, and improve commercial processes to ensure consistency across expansion sites and ensure scalable growth.
  • Support continuous improvement, program enhancement, and future expansion programs in collaboration with program delivery teams.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (Rockwell does not sponsor employment visas for this role)
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ years of experience working with customers in a commercial or partnerfacing capacity
  • Experience in technology, sales, automation, workforce development, or related fields
  • Experience collaborating with, and influencing crossfunctional teams and partners on behalf of customers
  • Enthusiasm for building, implementing, and scaling new processes
  • Project management experience.
