The Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated relationship builder and organizational powerhouse who can collaborate with multiple internal teams and stakeholders. You will provide support and counsel to the client on initiatives including; employee engagement, employee relations, benefits, compensation, learning and development, and recruiting. Location

This is a remote position. They are accepting applicants in the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Increasing worldwide engagement and nurturing a people first culture
  • Audit and adapt policies and processes to promote an inclusive and equitable employee experience (DEI lens a must!)
  • Own decision making processes for your areas of expertise; lead with your knowledge and people skills
  • Establish and maintain People data and analytics to drive decision making
  • Support Talent Acquisition Specialist in developing incredible onboarding process for new hires
  • Manage and administer benefits plans and programs. Liaison with insurance partners, vendors, and brokers (health, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.)
  • Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding benefits, compensation, and leave administration to effectively administer our US people policies
  • Process employment-related changes and maintain data integrity in all systems, ensuring compliance and conducting regular audits

Definition of Success

  • 5+ years progressive experience in People Operations with interest or experience working at a fast growth startup
  • Interest in developing and nurturing inclusive virtual culture across time zones
  • Solid understanding of labor legislation, and willingness to learn as we grow (currently they hire in 10 states in the USA)
