Salary range (but not limited to):

45,200 - 55,200

Incentive plan

Annual bonus: 5% target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to 200% (subject to personal and company performance)

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

We're looking for a Bilingual Administrative Assistant - Commercial Insurance (IBU) to join our growing BrokerLink team in New Brunswick!

As a Bilingual Administrative Assistant on our Independent Business Unit (IBU) team, you'll collaborate closely with our brokers to ensure timely client renewals and service while maintaining balanced workloads. If you are bilingual in spoken and written French and English (with a high level of French) and eager to start a career in the insurance industry and grow into an Insurance Advisor, this entry-level role is a great opportunity!

What you'll do here:

• Work closely with the bilingual Commercial Insurance Advisor team to ensure clients are renewed and serviced on time while maintaining balanced workloads.
• Triage incoming service requests and distribute them evenly among Insurance Advisors.
• Monitor and triage emails in the shared inbox, assigning items evenly to bilingual Insurance Advisors.
• Process policy renewals and allocate renewal files evenly across the team.
• Answer overflow French calls and route or assign inquiries as needed.
• Perform a variety of administrative duties, applying standard methods and established procedures.

What you bring to the table:

• A high level of proficiency in both written and spoken French and English is mandatory. Requires answering calls and providing service to a French-speaking clientele on a regular basis
• New Brunswick General Insurance Agent Licence (Level 1) is required (or willingness to obtain it).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent customer focus and administration skills.
• Solid organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Enjoys working behind the scenes and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
