Job Title: Insurance Investigator - Surveillance (Full-Time)

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Surveillance & SIU Investigator for Illinois area. You will be provided all the tools and support necessary to ensure your success and achieve assigned case objectives for our clients.

Essential Functions:

  • Conducting covert video surveillance (fixed/mobile)
  • Obtaining video documentation of claimant activities
  • Provide SIU Investigative support for complex claims
  • Assembling comprehensive detailed investigative reports
  • Testifying at hearings and/or court proceedings as needed

Non-Essential Functions:

  • Other tasks requested by management

Qualifications:

  • Self-starter who takes on challenging responsibilities and holds self-accountable for results and performance
  • Strong attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines
  • Insurance claims investigation/surveillance experience (2+ years preferred)
  • Associate's/bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel as necessary within the service area
  • Flexibility to work varied/irregular hours and days
  • Strong computer and internet skills
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Possess a reliable vehicle
  • State of IL investigators license a plus but not mandatory

Salary Information:

  • $45,000 to $75,000 annually. Pay will be based on experience. Position is full-time.

Core Hours:

  • 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Evenings and earlier morning work may be required as essential functions demand. This position will be mostly on the road.
