William Raveis Insurance is seeking a Property & Casualty licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative to service Connecticut and upper New England. As a professional in Personal Lines Insurance, you will join our commitment to provide our clients and customers with quality products and outstanding service for every transaction. William Raveis Insurance has been a full-service in-house insurance company since 1984 with a remarkable record of growth and success.

Customer service representatives must possess the skills to service a full Personal Lines insurance portfolio while effectively working on cross-selling and retention. This is a fast-paced environment where the ability to multi-task & the flexibility to meet shifting priorities are critical to success.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Promote William Raveis Insurance Company’s complete line of products and services, including homeowner’s and auto insurance to customers, both internal and external.
  • Manage a large, established book of lines business
  • Proactively identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to expand client coverage and apply your in-depth product knowledge to cross-sell our products to new and existing customers.
  • Provide exceptional service to existing clients, addressing inquiries and policy changes in a timely manner
  • Work as a team with our Insurance Producers to proactively manage and review current portfolios for expiry dates and add-on coverage when feasible.
  • Handle all aspects of the renewal process, including reviewing coverage, preparing quotes, and identifying potential gaps.
  • Track and manage non-renewals, working to retain business when appropriate
  • Contribute to the development, growth, and expansion of our Raveis family of companies which includes 4,400+ real estate agents and in-house mortgage bankers.
  • Utilize agency management systems to document activity, update client records, and manage workflows efficiently
  • Service our Insurance Producers assigned customers and prospects with a best-in-class service commensurate with our company values of honesty and integrity.
  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers and underwriters to ensure favorable outcomes for clients
  • Collaborate with producers and internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Meet goals as established by the hiring manager.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced business environment and pivot to respond to shifting priorities.

Qualifications & Benefits:

  • A minimum of 1 year servicing P & C products with call center experience a plus!
  • Must have a current P & C license.
  • Independent and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stay current on industry trends, carrier guidelines, and coverage options
  • We offer a fixed salary, commission on newly written business, and a generous benefit package.

 

Hours of Work

·         NOT a remote position. This position is full-time in the office. Standard work hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5pm, with regular and predictable attendance.
