Compensation: $80K-$125K DOE
Location: Seattle, WA

Our client, a well-known provider of commercial, personal, and employee benefits lines of insurance, is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their team. With an array of fully employer-paid benefits like medical, dental, vision, and 401k, our client's company is an excellent place to grow your career. The Account Executive plays a pivotal role in managing and expanding the company's client accounts.
Insurance Account Executive Job Responsibilities
  • Overseeing a portfolio of approximately 35 accounts.
  • Working with Account Managers to handle the administrative aspects of account servicing.
  • Performing all client-facing account management duties, including setting pre-renewal meetings and facilitating plan reviews.
  • Earning a 10% first-year commission on any new business referred, with an additional 10% end-of-year bonus for meeting annual sales goals.
  • Allocating new business to the team best suited to meet the account profile and client needs.
  • Meeting in-person with the employee benefits team every Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Serving a local client base ranging from Bellingham to Olympia along the I-5 corridor.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years Employee Benefits Experience.
  • At least 2 years as a Senior Account Manager or Account Executive.
  • Experience overseeing Account Managers, delegating and splitting responsibilities.
  • Experience with Fully & Self-Funded Accounts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on client-facing interactions.
  • Applicants with experience from direct writers, carriers, or TPAs are not preferred.
