Job description

Who We Are Looking For (No Experience Required):

We are looking for someone who wants to become an insurance advisor - not simply an order taker or phone answerer. As technology continues to handle more routine transactions, the value our team provides is increasingly human: understanding what is changing in a customer's life, recognizing the risks that come with those changes, explaining options clearly, and helping the customer make thoughtful decisions about protecting what matters.

This role is a great fit for you if you:

  • Listen with patience and empathy. You can slow down enough to understand what a customer really needs, even when the situation is complicated or the customer is frustrated.

  • Look for solutions: When problems arise, you naturally look for answers and find a clear way forward.
  • Manage time and workload well. You can balance incoming customer needs, follow-up work, documentation, and priorities without losing track of details.
  • Want to become an expert. You are motivated to understand policies and coverage deeply enough to explain them simply and make confident recommendations.
  • Welcome goals and accountability. You understand that excellent advising should produce measurable customer and business outcomes, and you are comfortable being accountable for both.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a trusted insurance advisor for existing customers, primarily through inbound conversations.
  • Own customer questions and requests through resolution while delivering a high level of service.
  • Review coverage, identify meaningful protection gaps, and make appropriate property, casualty, life, and health insurance recommendations.
  • Manage follow-up work, documentation, and competing priorities with consistency and attention to detail.
  • Work alongside a high-performing team to achieve customer-care, protection, and agency goals.
  • Obtain and maintain Ohio Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses. We will guide you through the licensing process.

Benefits & Compensation (Full-Time Eligible)

  • Stable Base Pay: $41,808-$54,912 reliable base salary.
  • Performance Upside: Commissions and performance bonuses.
