Today it’s one of the nation’s largest crop insurance providers, offering risk management protection in all 50 states through a national network of about 4,000 professionally trained and licensed agents./span/pp /ppspan style=This is a great opportunity to serve the agricultural community. /spanbrspan style= /span/ppspan style=As a Crop Adjuster, your primary responsibilities will include: /span/pulli style=pspan style=With minimal supervision, completes field inspections and related responsibilities such as reading maps and aerial photos, measuring fields, storage bins, and discussing findings of crop loss with farmers on the most complex non-routine, problematic claims including controversial claims./span/p/lili style=pspan style=Ability to convey complex regulations and interpretations to claimants, agents, and industry people on claim situations./span/p/lili style=pspan style=Performs fact finding regarding crop damage, records information and transmits loss information to accurately determine potential indemnities./span/p/lili style=pspan style=Gather relevant facts, utilizing applicable law and establishing basic principles of negligence./span/p/lili style=pspan style=Complete claim reviews and audits on lower-level adjusters as assigned./span/p/lili style=pspan style=Ensure legal compliance by maintaining a strong working knowledge of regulatory and company policies and procedures./span/p/lili style=pspan style=Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed./span/p/li/ulpspan style=  /span/ppspan style=Basic Qualifications:/span/pulli style=pspan style=High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area/span/p/lili style=pspan style=Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained with 180 days of hire date/span/p/lili style=pspan style=Reliable personal transportation and travel within territory/span/p/lili style=pspan style=Valid Driver’s License/span/p/lili style=pspan style=RCIS Crop Adjuster Physical Requirements: walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles, climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet, lift 25 lbs. to 50 lbs., work outdoors in varying temperatures/weather conditions /span/p/li/ulp /ppspan style=Preferred Qualifications:  /span/pulli style=pspan style=Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills/span/p/lili style=pspan style=Strong organization and prioritization skills/span/p/li/ululli style=pspan style=Experience as a Crop Claims Field Adjuster/span/p/lili style=pspan style=Intermediate Microsoft Office skills/span/p/li/ulp /pdiv/divp /ppspan style=Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience.
