Account Manager

Realm Health is seeking a dynamic and licensed Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for our valued clients. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing client relationships, managing renewals, and ensuring our clients maximize the value of their healthcare benefits.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of the insurance landscape. An active Texas Life and Health Insurance license is required for this role, as you will be directly advising clients on their coverage and policy options.

What you'll do:

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Strategic Consultation: Utilize your expertise to guide clients through complex healthcare benefit structures, helping them understand their policy details, options, and renewals.
  • Onboarding & Implementation: Lead the seamless onboarding process for new accounts, ensuring all member and policy data is accurately implemented.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve client inquiries, billing discrepancies, and complex claims issues with empathy and efficiency.
  • Renewals & Upselling: Manage the annual renewal process, identifying opportunities to introduce additional Realm Health services or cross-sell products that align with the client's evolving needs.
  • Compliance & Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on national healthcare regulations, industry trends, and Realm Health's evolving product suite to ensure compliant and accurate guidance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • License Requirement: Must possess an active Texas Life and Health Insurance license (or be able to transfer an out-of-state license to Texas immediately upon hire).
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in account management, client success, or insurance brokerage—specifically within the health insurance or employee benefits industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
    • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
