Main responsibilities:

In this role on our Pharmacy team, you'll contribute to ACI's mission to inspire wellbeing by supporting data-driven decisions that make healthcare more accessible. You'll assist in creating reports and dashboards that provide insights into program performance, system updates, and market trends.  
You'll work closely with experienced analysts and business partners to understand our customers and help evaluate new initiatives. This role offers opportunities to collaborate with Product and Customer Engagement teams, helping to track the success of new launches and support continuous improvement.  

  • As an Analyst, you'll work with internal and external data sources to perform basic analysis, build visualizations, and support reporting needs. You'll receive guidance and mentorship as you develop your skills in turning data into actionable insights. 
  • Support data preparation and analysis- Assist in gathering, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources into usable formats using tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.  
  • Learn and apply SQL- Use SQL to explore datasets and generate insights, with support from senior analysts to ensure efficient and scalable practices.  
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports- Help build and update dashboards in Power BI to visualize key metrics and support business decision-making.  
  • Collaborate on reporting- Work with business partners and leadership to help streamline reporting needs and maintain existing dashboards and data models.  
  • Partner with analytics leads- Contribute to cross-functional projects by supporting analysis and documentation of business issues and opportunities.  
  • Assist in initiative evaluation- Help assess new Health and Pharmacy initiatives by analyzing customer engagement and adoption trends.  
  • Communicate findings- Present basic insights and visualizations to team members, contributing to discussions that inform business decisions.  
  • Stay curious- Participate in brainstorming sessions and support the exploration of new ideas that can drive growth and engagement.  
  • Customer-focused mindset- Help identify ways to improve digital and in-store experiences through data insights.  
  • Travel- Minimal travel may be required, up to 5%. 
     

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • A collaborative and adaptable team member who is eager to learn and contribute in both structured and evolving environments.  
  • Familiarity with SQL and/or Microsoft Power BI (or similar data visualization tools) is a plus; willingness to grow these skills is essential.  
  • Interest in developing strong Excel skills for ad hoc analysis and reporting; experience with formulas, pivot tables, and charts is a plus.  
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.  
  • A proactive mindset with curiosity to explore data and identify opportunities for improvement.  
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.  
  • Interest in understanding customer needs, business goals, and industry trends to support strategic decision-making.  
  • Solid problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn how to turn data into actionable insights.  
  • Bonus: Prior experience in Pharmacy, Healthcare operations, data analytics and/or prior coding experience is a plus.  
  • This position is based in Boise, ID.


We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:  

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Finance, Statistics) is preferred, but other fields or equivalent experience will be considered.  
  • Internship, academic, or project-based experience in data analysis or analytics is a plus.  
  • Interest in customer journey, retail, or pharmacy operations is helpful; prior experience in these areas is a strong plus.  
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar is a plus; willingness to learn and apply these tools is essential.  
  • Exposure to SQL or other query languages is a plus; desire to build proficiency is key.  
  • Interest in developing strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting; experience with formulas, pivot tables, and charts is helpful.  
  • Experience using JIRA or other project management tools is a plus.  
  • Some travel may be required, up to 5%
