Job Summary:

Customer centricity, market insight and data-driven decision-making are central to the Finlays Solutions value proposition. The Customer Insights function is core to driving commercial growth and customer partnership, ensuring Finlays is well placed to lead the future of the beverage industry.


This role is focused on supporting stakeholders across the Finlays Solutions global business by providing data and insights. This will center on using Excel to analyze data from different sources, such as market data and consumer survey data, to generate insights and make business recommendations in PowerPoint reports.


We are looking for someone with experience in insights, market research, data management or a related field who enjoys working with data and transforming information into compelling stories.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Storytelling
  • Develop presentations, reports and trend summaries for internal and external audiences
  • Translate complex data into concise and engaging narratives
  • Support the creation of thought-leadership content through desk research
  • Ensure all deliverables are polished, accurate and visually compelling
  • Present insights and trends to clients and stakeholders in a clear, engaging and commercially relevant manner
  • Insights & Analysis
    • Analyze consumer, market, category and innovation data to identify trends and opportunities
    • Synthesize multiple sources of information into clear, actionable insights
    • Support with the development of insights-led recommendations for customer projects
  • Data Maintenance
    • Clean, validate and maintain data from third-party insight platforms, including consumer, category and market datasets
    • Support the preparation and organization of data for analysis and reporting


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics or a related field
  • Proven experience in an insights, market research, data analysis or similar analytical role
  • Experience analyzing varied inputs, e.g., large datasets and global industry trends, and pulling this together in a streamlined and relevant manner
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, data visualization and presentation development
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, draw conclusions and translate findings into commercially relevant recommendations
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, consistency and quality across all deliverables
  • Strong written communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present insights clearly and confidently to a variety of audiences
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative working style with experience working across cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (10–20%) to support customer engagement, cross-functional collaboration and attendance at industry conferences

Work Environment

  • Employees must be able to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment that may include exposure to odors, dust, moderate noise levels, and fluctuations in temperature and ventilation
  • Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times, which may include but is not limited to: safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, hairnets, uniforms, and face shields, as required by specific job duties and safety protocols
