What are Insight Analysts?

Insight Analysts are professionals who collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights for businesses or organizations. • Define and refine key business metrics and reporting frameworks, build analytical models, and generate predictive insights to support business strategies.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to understand needs, deliver data-driven recommendations, and implement solutions.
  • Support recurring and ad hoc reporting across a range of communications metrics, including social performance, conversation trends, campaign and launch impact, and media coverage.
  • Translate quantitative and qualitative data, often addressing broad or ambiguous questions into clear narratives for stakeholders, including executive-ready summaries, dashboards, presentations, etc., and reports.
  • Help identify and refine AI-assisted workflows that improve reporting efficiency and insight development, while applying strong judgment and validation to outputs.
  • Partner closely with PR, PlayStation Studios, Consumer Insights, Marketing, and the broader Global Communications organization to support planning, measurement, and post-mortem learning.
  • Stay deeply attuned to the gaming landscape, audience behavior, platform trends, and cultural context that shape how players respond to PlayStation news and content.
What We're Looking For
  • 5-7 years of experience in data analytics, audience insights, communications measurement, social intelligence, or a related field.

  • Advanced problem-solving, statistical, and creative thinking capabilities.
  • Strong Excel skills and a demonstrated ability to work through large, messy, or nuanced datasets with rigor and precision.
