Job description

Responsibilities

We're seeing an exceptional Senior Business Process Consultant to serve as a trusted front office partner supporting collaborative research initiatives across diverse emerging technology domains.

This role demands a highly independent, detail-oriented professional capable of supporting senior leadership with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate will coordinate complex relationships with multiple stakeholders, manage high-visibility briefings, and serve as a force multiplier for leadership.

The candidate will have a deep understanding for the organization and be capable of seamlessly integrating into a fast-paced front office environment, operating with the pace and precision required to support the customer's innovation ecosystem and technology transition activities.

Front Office and Leadership Support

  • Manage leadership calendars and coordinate complex scheduling requirements
  • Prepare briefings for senior leadership, interagency partners, and Congressional audiences
  • Draft communications with exceptional attention to detail and appropriate polish for the intended audience

Program Management Support

  • Provide programmatic assistance with collaborative research activities
  • Facilitate communication between multiple stakeholders
  • Track requirements and deliverables across the portfolio
  • Support Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and programmatic reporting requirements
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks from initiation through completion
  • Prepare meeting notes and distribute program communications via email and cable traffic

Budget and Contracts Management

  • Provide budget management support and financial oversight for collaborative research activities
  • Support non-FAR based agreement administration and contract management
  • Utilize organizational budget tools and financial management systems for tracking and reporting

Travel and Administrative Support

  • Coordinate travel arrangements including cables, logistics, and detailed itineraries
  • Process cables for travel authorization and trip reporting
  • Manage taskings and organizational requirements in knowledge management systems

Communications and Knowledge Management

  • Manage communications flow including highlights, taskings, and priority items
  • Organize and maintain workspace for program documentation
  • Conduct research and gather supplemental information to support leadership decision-making
  • Perform quality assurance/quality control and due diligence on all data and deliverables
Qualifications

Professional Experience

  • Program management experience in intelligence or DoD/DoW environments
  • COTR experience or equivalent contracts oversight
  • Experience supporting senior executive leadership
  • Experience preparing briefings for Congressional, interagency, or senior executive audiences

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with cable system
  • Experience with organizational systems and tools including document management, financial systems, and tasking platforms
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

  • Ability to plan and lead major assignments independently
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills with ability to tailor content to audience

Target Salary Range$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
