Job description

Job Summary:
Omega Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer III to maintain and expand a large Autodesk cloud network. The role involves troubleshooting network issues, automating cloud networking tasks, and participating in planning sessions within an agile environment.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and expand a large Autodesk cloud network
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues for internal and external customers.
• Automate cloud networking related tasks and build self-service tools
• Participate in organizational objective planning sessions, and efficiently manage tasks and projects with our agile methodology
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with RESTful APIs (AWS Lambda, API Gateway)
• 3+ years of experience in large-scale cloud-based Infrastructure – we use AWS
• Deep understanding of AWS networking services such as Amazon VPC, AWS Transit Gateway, Amazon Managed VPN
• Programming and automation skills – Python, Go, Terraform, Jenkins
• Solid understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, routing, IPSec tunnels, subnetting, and network segmentation
• Working knowledge of DNS, including AWS Route 53 and BIND
• Hands-on experience with modern container platforms such as Docker
• Proven ability to work effectively within an Agile framework
• Skilled at presenting technical policies, proposals, and designs
• Success in this role means you are a fast learner, a great communicator; within as well as across teams, and always have customer satisfaction in mind

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
