Site Reliability Engineer Salary: $97,500-$130,000 Role Summary

The SRE & Cloud Engineer will support the client by accelerating remediation of security issues and contributing to cloud modernization initiatives. This role is handson and executionfocused, aimed at reducing backlog, improving platform reliability, and advancing infrastructureascode and automation practices within AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute remediation of identified security issues across cloud infrastructure
  • Support cloud modernization initiatives using Terraform and automation
  • Build, maintain, and optimize AWS infrastructure, including EC2
  • Support containerized workloads using Kubernetes/EKS
  • Improve system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency
  • Work through defined backlog items quickly and accurately in collaboration with client teams
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments; leverage observability tools where available

Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience in an SRE or Cloud Engineering role
  • Strong handson experience with AWS
  • Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure automation
  • Experience managing compute resources (e.g., EC2)
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes, including EKS
  • Familiarity with security remediation processes in cloud environments

Nice to Have
  • Experience with Datadog for monitoring and observability
  • Exposure to broader DevOps or SRE practices (monitoring, alerting, reliability engineering)
  • Experience supporting cloud modernization or transformation initiatives
