Job description

 About The Position

One of our operating companies, Tech-Keys, is looking for an Experienced Tier 2 IT Engineer to join their team! The successful candidate will work out of one of our clients headquarters as part of an IT team to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, maintain computer systems, and provide remote and onsite support. They should be comfortable with quickly adapting to new technologies and working both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Maintain computer systems
  • Provide remote and onsite support
  • Maintain documentation of processes, issues, and solutions
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in IT engineering and/or customer facing
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Expected Outcomes
  • Resolve technical issues in both a remote and on-site environment
  • Interact with members of client headquarters, including high level executives
  • Provide the best possible solution to clients 
  • Maintaining clear communication with clients 
  • Keeping assigned tickets organized and updated 
  • Periodic assignment of afterhours on-call support
