Salesforce is looking for a Community Practice Leader to join Informatica's strategic Go-to-Market (GTM) team for technical sales, delivering use case-focused assets and support to drive field execution. Community Practice Leaders are domain expert leaders (Industry Advisors) that engage in key sales opportunities, accelerating deal progression and ensuring consistent, value-driven customer engagement.
Community Practice Leaders scale technical sales expertise across the organization, enabling a unified, high-impact GTM approach. Our Community Practice Leaders build and nurture communities across Informatica and key partners, aligned to priority use cases. This is a cross-functional role requiring strong initiative, collaboration across teams, and direct customer engagement to deliver expert guidance and drive results.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Advance the goals of the Informatica Community Practice org to support the broader technical sales and sales communities, facilitate timely communications and community activities across the globe.
  • Support strategic sales opportunities through creation of reusable sales assets, coaching field resources, and engaging directly with customers.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in GTM messaging, processes, and activities to enhance CoP impact on overall GTM goals.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with sales, marketing, and product teams, ensuring regular communication and documented follow-ups.
  • Oversee Seismic page development and community engagement activities, expanding community participation and interaction.
  • Promote the Community of Practice mission internally and externally, representing its value proposition.
  • Collaborate with the larger Industry Advisor team and technical sales leaders to deploy expertise.

Technology you'll use:

  • Informatica cloud platform (IDMC) and its and related products (AI, Data Integration, Access Management, Marketplace, Data Governance & Catalog, Master Data Management, etc).
  • Sales enablement platforms including Seismic
  • Enterprise SaaS, Middleware (PaaS), and IaaS technologies.


Qualifications you'll need to be successful:

  • 5+ years of director-level experience within enterprise software companies, managing multiple workstreams and deadlines in sales contexts
  • Articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences in writing and verbally
  • Experience conducting user interviews and building relationships between customers, prospects, analysts, sales, R&D, and management
  • Project management experience working with geographically dispersed teams
  • Prior knowledge of Informatica technologies and products
  • Expertise working with senior leaders and driving discussion around solutions and business value and technology fulfills their needs and goals
  • Experience working cross-functionally with architecture, engineering, marketing, sales and support teams
  • Experience in enterprise data management selling SaaS, middleware (PaaS), IaaS, enterprise software and/or enterprise middleware products & analytics
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects with a passion for building processes, relationships, and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and services such as AI, MDM, or Data Governance highly preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce platforms and MuleSoft highly preferred
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software sales and GTM processes
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% globally
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
