The Experience
Salesforce is looking for a diverse group of collaborators to join our dedicated Informatica Partner Pre-Sales Solution Engineering team, who play a crucial role in driving Informatica's growth. As a Partner Pre-Sales Solution Engineer, you will provide technical sales support to our sales teams while collaborating with Salesforce partners to align our solutions with our customers' vision. The Informatica Sales and Partner teams will rely on your technical and product expertise throughout the sales cycle.

You will be an integral part of the success of our partners, customers, and Account Executives by conducting technical discovery and qualification, delivering product demonstrations and proofs of concept, leading technical workshops, and making architectural recommendations. As a hardworking technologist and customer advocate, you will connect the dots between technical solutions and business outcomes for our customers.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Coordinate dedicated workshops to help our partners understand the key selling points of Informatica's platform and the role it plays within the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Perform all activities leading up to the delivery of a customer demo including discovery, technical qualification/fit, customer presentations, standard demos, and related customer facing communication.

  • Respond to Request for Information/Proposal documents

  • Manage customer and partner engagements without support

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to continuously improve Informatica's products and marketing

  • Share best practices, content, and tips and tricks within the primary area of responsibility

  • Stay current on certification of services required for area of responsibility

  • Partner with the CSM team on nurture activities including technical advisory, workshops, etc.

  • Provide customer and partner feedback on product gaps

  • Support demos at marketing and partner events to drive pipeline generation.


You're Our Person If...

  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in data integration, master data management, or data governance

  • 5+ years of presales/technical sales, industry, or consulting experience

  • Basic technical knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, Data Warehousing, Database, and/or Business Intelligence software concepts and products.

  • Skills on at least one INFA related software platform/technology

  • Storytelling, and experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects specific to use cases

  • Experience engaging and creating relationships with influencers, coaches, decision makers, and partners

  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 60%) and to work flexible hours

  • Basic knowledge of top 3 cloud ecosystems and top 2 data related technologies highly preferred

  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing security aspects highly preferred

  • Certification on at least 1 cloud ecosystem and 1 data related cloud technology at the level defined by the business area of focus

  • Degree in Computer Science required (B.S., Master's, or Ph.D.)
