Electrolit Manufacturing USA (EMUSA) is a new, state-of-the-art beverage manufacturing facility in Waco, TX. The 640,000 sqft. Facility is situated in the Texas Central Industrial Park and will be operating on a 24/7 schedule. The facility will manufacture and distribute the 26 flavors of Electrolit™ - the fastest growing isotonic hydration beverage in the US.LOCATIONWaco, TX – OnsitePOSITION SUMMARYThe primary responsibility of the Industrial Engineering Manager will be to lead our process improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation. This role will be responsible for driving Lean Manufacturing implementation, overseeing KPI development, and ensuring the successful execution of DMAIC projects. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can balance hands-on problem-solving with long-term strategic planning to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost. This position will be working with sensitive information therefore it will require an NDA.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, safety, and cost. Champion Lean Manufacturing principles by leading Kaizen events, value stream mapping, 5S programs, and other continuous improvement initiatives Direct and manage DMAIC problem-solving projects to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and sustain improvements Oversee the development, monitoring, and analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with business targets. Partner with production, quality, and maintenance teams to implement standardized work processes. Lead cost-reduction projects without compromising product quality or safety. Approve and oversee time studies, workflow analysis, capacity modeling, and equipment utilization studies.Provide training and coaching to team members on Lean and continuous improvement principles. Support new product introductions and process validation activities. Create and execute the industrial engineering strategy aligned with plant objectives and operational priorities. Review, approve, and ensure the accuracy of employee timecards for direct reports in accordance with company policies and payroll deadlines.Performs other related duties, as assigned by management.JOB EFFICIENCY MEASURESJob performance will be assessed using measurable metrics, which may include but are not limited to:Production output and throughput targets.Accuracy and quality rates.Adherence to safety, regulatory, and compliance standards.Equipment uptime, utilization, and operational efficiency.On-time completion and schedule adherence.Participation in and contribution to continuous improvement initiatives.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field required; master’s degree preferred.Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt certification preferred.7+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.Proven track record of leading Lean Manufacturing initiatives and DMAIC projects to successful completion.Proficiency in data analysis and process mapping.Expertise in KPI development, measurement, and improvement strategies.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.Experience developing and managing KPIs in a production setting.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP/MES systems preferred.Fluency in English required, Spanish is a plus.WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDSThis position is primarily performed in an office environment during standard business hours. The role involves regular use of a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate office equipment. Occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, and light physical activity may be required. The employee may occasionally be required to lift or move items weighing up to 15 pounds.
