Job description

Easton Technical Products is looking for an on-site Industrial Engineering Technician to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. In this role, you'll help improve how products move through our factory by developing labor standards, maintaining manufacturing routings, creating production documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their engineering or manufacturing career who wants broad exposure to manufacturing engineering, operations, product development, finance, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing routings and labor standards used for planning, scheduling, and product costing.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Support new product launches by creating initial manufacturing routings and process documentation.
  • Create, update, and maintain standard work instructions, SOPs, setup instructions, and other manufacturing documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and production teams to ensure documentation accurately reflects shop floor processes.
  • Generate labor efficiency, production, and operational reports to support business decisions.
  • Assist with product costing by providing labor data and routing information.
  • Support document control activities using SolidWorks PDM/Manage, including engineering change requests and workflow administration.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and documentation.
  • Work both in the office and on the production floor to observe processes, collect data, and support Manufacturing Engineering projects.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in Industrial Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Technology, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering support, industrial engineering, or a technical environment
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze information and solve problems
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with ERP systems, CAD, SolidWorks PDM/PLM, or manufacturing documentation is a plus-but we're willing to train the right candidate.
